Why: Prada is launching its May 2021 organic denim collection, marking a deliberate shift towards sustainable dressing for the brand. Denim fabric of Prada is made from 100% GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton, made with less energy and less water to ensure every piece was made as needed, without compromising the quality. This low-impact denim transforms into chic shirts, jeans and bra tops that speak to Prada’s primary customer.

Why: Harley teamed up with Ancient Greek Sandals Artistic Director Christina Martini to create a joyful capsule of seven different models. Why: Casual sportswear is slowly but surely taking over, and publisher favorite Mother Denim is launching its first MovementWear line, offering their take on casual classics. The collection is available in an amazing baby blue (my choice) with exaggerated ties in bright orange that provide an elegant finishing touch. Aries launches collaboration with Lee Jeans

Why: Streetwear label Aries has teamed up with cult denim label Lee to create a capsule collection that honors the workwear the two brands have paraded in for years. Aries reworked the classic Rider jeans and 191-1 jacket with playful prints, bringing a British punk touch to classic American basics. Cult Italian street photographer Roberto Timperi photographed the countryside on the streets, showing how the collection comes to life.
Ray-Ban launches archival models from the 70s

Why: If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the new Halston show or catching up with The Serpent on Netflix, you’ve undoubtedly been inspired by the glasses on both shows. Ray-Ban is reissuing two frames from its iconic 70s archives, the Vagabond (pictured here) and the State-Side. The frames feature the original Havana acetate and Ambermatic yellow lenses, so that all summer long you can live out your American Hustle fantasy.
