Can't Get Enough of Prince Louis in His New Birthday Portrait

Prince Louis, the youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is three years old.
To celebrate his birthday, Kensington Palace released a new portrait of the Little Prince on his first day in preschool last week. In it, he’s sitting on a red bicycle, wearing a blue sweater and carrying a matching backpack.
“Three tomorrow!” The family captioned the image on social media. (The prince’s birthday is officially April 23 – the family usually posts a photo the night before the milestone.)
The photo was taken by her mother, Kate Middleton.
It’s a joyous moment in what has otherwise been mourning for the royal family: Earlier in April, Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99, with his funeral broadcast to millions around the world, with Vogue’s Hamish Bowles writing that he served. as “a powerful evocation of a remarkable man”.

Yet Prince Louis has always brought smiles to the faces of the world. Last year, for example, the royals shared a snap of the gasping finger – and then smeared the said paint all over their face. “Instagram vs reality,” they wrote. Then there was his video appearance with David Attenborough, where he adorably struggled to pronounce the “animal” world.
