Brock Collection Partners With H&M For Dream Collaboration

If there had been a seam like “getting back to normal life after pandemic,” Brock Collection might have discovered it. Los Angeles-based luxury women’s brand, known for their relaxed designs that blend effortlessly with edge and make opulence unassuming, partners with H&M for a new collection of women’s clothing, launched in the United States June 24.
Anticipating that a return to the dressing days could be a painful process after more than a year in quarantine, designers Kristopher Brock and Laura Vassar curated pieces that could do double duty, moving from the couch to the city streets without the need for a cloakroom. The result is a romantic and understated group, tailor-made for H&M’s mass market approach to fashion. Combining vintage-inspired florals with bright blue denim and chunky gold jewelry, none of the 33 pieces in the collection balk at convention, or intimidate – for those wary first steps back to the Sunday morning bunches in a real restaurant they are about as ideal as it gets.
“We are delighted to partner with Brock Collection, who are well known for their luxury craftsmanship, flawless fit and structures, and who are very well-followed by celebrities,” said Maria Östblom, Head of Design at H&M. “But there is also beauty in the fact that their designs are always easy to wear, feel down to earth and helpful- I think that is their key to the success. We want to celebrate romance and make it available to as many people as possible.”
The collection includes chic pillow bags; crop tops and blouses; jeans and denim shirt; summer dresses with spaghetti straps, tie and bishop sleeves; cat eye sunglasses; slides with sharp ends; scarf; and several jewelry options, all in yellow gold with pearl insets and dreamy jewelry. Colors come in a range of cool tones, mostly blues and pinks with the occasional shock of black, and prices are distinctly affordable, ranging from $12.99 for accessories to $49.99 for clothing.
In keeping with H&M’s commitment to end the unnecessary fast fashion trend, all items in the Brock collection are made from sustainable materials. Developed from organic linen, organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel Lyocell, the garments are available in sizes XXS-XXL and form a flattering and soft silhouette. With these soft and subtle pieces, getting out of the sweatpants and getting back on the track – at home or on the go – feels a lot less of a chore.
