Anya Taylor-Joy continues her awards season style streak at tonight’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. The Queen’s Gambit actress wore a nude and black lace Vera Wang gown for Sunday’s ceremony, and on the diamond front, Taylor-Joy accessorized around $800,000 in Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Pieces included a necklace in platinum from $325,000 with a variety of diamond cuts that are both simple and sophisticated. She completed the look with simple round earrings (valued at $165,000) and a trio of rings (valued at $332,000 in total).
Taylor-Joy is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a TV Movie or Limited Series for her role as Beth Harmon in The Queen’s Gambit, an instant streaming success and one of the most-watched Netflix series of all time (At the time of its release, 62 million individual users had streamed the limited series).
Taylor-Joy has had a remarkable year, scoring several Golden Globe nominations for her roles in both The Queen’s Gambit and period satire Emma. She won the award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for the premiere, wearing a sensational custom Dior couture gown and Tiffany jewelry for the occasion. She also wore Dior to the Critics’ Choice Awards to accept her award for Best Actress in a TV or Limited Series Movie, this time in an ethereal tulle dress by Boysenberry.
Working with stylist Law Roach, Taylor-Joy served up old Hollywood glamor with a modern twist for her press appearances for The Queen’s Gambit. Creating tonight’s look with Vera Wang, Roach said, “The jewelry and also the history of the house always make my daughters feel ultra glamorous. As soon as the necklace was put on Anya, we could feel the presence of Audrey, Jackie and Marilyn.”
